About me

Ciao! I'm Maria Paola, I live between Venice and Lisbon.

I have a degree in Art history at Ca' Foscari University of Venice and I am a certified Italian language teacher to foreign students (CLTA). I have previous teaching experience with beginner and intermediate level students. I can teach both, adults and kids.

The focus of our lessons is going to be based on your needs: grammar, day to day communication, vocabulary and culture.

I obtained the certification (CLTA) to teach Italian to foreign people. I also have a Master degree in Art History so if you have any curiosity about Italian culture and art we can discover it together.

Conversational Italian

I gained a certificate in teaching Italian language to foreigns adult of beginner and intermediate levels.I've done 30 hours of internship in teaching Italian to two different classes of English speaker students, one elementary level, another one intermediate. My approach it's both, written and oral. The lessons are focused on learn the pronunciation and speak during the daily life, idioms, local expression.

Italian for beginners

I gained a certificate in teaching Italian language to foreigns adult of elementary and intermediate levels.As teaching for a elementary level, I have material and methods to start to learn and speak Italian from the very beginning. If you don't have any knowledge of the language we can start to learn together!

Italian Literature

I taught Italian literature and grammar in High Schools. The literature program included the study of the major European writers with a greater focus on Italian authors, from the Renaissance to contemporaneity.

Italian for children

I gained a certificate in teaching Italian language to foreigns adult of elementary and intermediate levels.I like to customize lessons to the needs of the students, so as a teacher for children, I have appropriate material that can be adapted to each age. As an Italian teacher for children, I have many games to play while the children can learn the language while having fun.
