Hello, I am Victoria! Let me introduce myself.
I live in Malaysia, a multi-language country where we speak both English and Chinese fluently as locals. And I also studied abroad in Japan and have learned Japanese since I was 12. Throughout the years, I have assisted many students to learn new languages. Here is an overview of what you are in for:
1. I speak fluent English and am a native speaker who has participated and won public-speaking competitions.
2. I speak multi-languages, including Japanese, Chinese, English and Bahasa Melayu. Hence I can easily interpret the meaning of the vocabs we are learning with a language you are familiar with.
3. As I myself was a complete beginner in Japanese, I truly
understand the difficulties and situations a learner would face in the beginning and also how to counter them
4. After the first lesson, I try my best to customize unique lesson styles for each individual student in order to help them learn new languages efficiently and productively according to their own needs. And at the beginning of each lesson, there will be 5-10 minutes of revision for what we learnt in the previous lesson and a 5-10 minutes of summary for what we learnt at the end of the lesson.

Professional, Passionate and Friendly Teacher I’ve had my first lesson with Victoria. My first impression is that she’s friendly and passionate. What’s more, her lesson is given in a well-organized form, which can certainly be attributed to her professionalism. She quickly found methods to improve my weakness in English and make adaptations to my feedback accordingly and flexibly. Her excellent command of both English and Chinese makes teaching and communication efficient and clear. Can't wait for the next lesson.

I had my first lesson with Victoria last night. It was my first online tutorial and so I was a bit apprehensive. Victoria was a great tutor from the get go! She asked me about my needs, suggested a plan which works well for beginners and then proceeded to bring me through the pingyin chart. She has a joyful soft voice with perfect pronunciation, listens attentively and corrects you affirmatively when needed to do so. :I will be booking another 10 lessons after this tutorial.!

Fantastic tutor!, Victoria has a very happy and positive attitude towards learning and teaching languages as well as high level of English understanding and speaking, which allowed for easy and clear conversations as well as explanations of concepts during the lesson, I felt very comfortable learning from her and enjoyed the lesson very much from start to end, I will definitely continue my language learning journey with her and am very excited to go to the next lesson!

Victoria was very patient and happy to adapt the lesson to my current level. I even brought my own study materials which she willing to go through with me, this is really appreciated as I know it makes lessons harder to prepare for when each student is following a unique curriculum! I enjoyed myself and looking forward to the coming sessions. Although the tutor is not a native speaker of Japanese, she is able to step into my shoe and showed her understanding of common difficulties that the majority of the Japanese learners would face. She will also explain the condition of using this phrase (e.g whether this is a formal or informal word to use in to certain occasion). And she was very supportive during the lesson too.

Victoria is amazing! I have tried 2 other tutors on preply and Victoria exceeded all of my expectations. She is very organized and structured. Very engaging and she takes her time with you. The materials that she uses are great and she always gives you tools and resources to help you study. I would recommend her. She also is very patient and kind.
