Hi, I'm Mika.
I was born in Japan and have the certificate of the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test authorized by The Society for Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language and administered by the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services.
I also have completed the studied for the 420 hour Advanced Skills of Teaching Japanese Language Course.
I'm currently living in Australia
Let's have relaxed lesson with me. I focus conversation in my lesson. I also teach situation conversation, expressions, business Japanese, Kansai-direct and Japanese language for care workers.

My lessons with Mika have been wonderful! I am very grateful to have deepened my knowledge in Japanese with her. My speaking and listening comprehension have considerably improved while working with Mika. She also has put in great effort in explaining all the intricacies of certain Japanese grammar rules and has always made a point to research a subject after our class, in the rare case she didn't have a concrete answer. Sensei is always very patient with me, even though I make the same mistakes repeatedly. She always asks about what I would like to learn, after we finish a textbook. She also explains what native Japanese would typically say in real life, versus what is taught in the "theoretical textbook" version.

Mika-San has been incredibly helpful as a tutor. She always shows up to lessons on time and we have great lessons. She is super flexible to teach according to two different textbooks, but has also helped me working on a textbook from my college class she had never used. Overall an amazing teacher!

I've only had a couple of lessons with Mika, and she is fantastic. She builds the lesson plan according to your level, and patiently goes through the lessons with you. She also thoroughly explains any question you have. I highly recommend her!

Minas Sensei you are amazing! She is very dedicated and brings a lot of materials, as well as helping with me pronunciation and intonations. I really like the way she explains grammar along the examples. A very good teacher for sure!
