First off I just want to say that I will absolutely stick with Yukio Sensei until I can speak Japanese fluently. I have taken 26 lessons so far with Yukio Sensei. Through those lessons I gained tremendous help whether it was forgetting what a word meant or if my pronunciation was wrong. Through the entire process he went with a pace that helped me learn the best, and answered the questions I had throughout the lessons. Overall, I think that Yukio Sensei is a fantastic teacher who you can really connect with to help you learn Japanese at your own pace, while he also pushes to to strive further. Thank you for the lessons I have taken and ones in the future!

Ruturaj is an excellent teacher!.I have been learning Japanese with Ruturaj now all summer and it has been a great experience. He provides both a great mix of listening, speaking and practical learning activities and a very safe, supportive learning environment. As a student, you feel pushed to learn and try out new competencies, feel safe and supported in doing so and gain valuable feedback that helps you to improve He is a very thoughtful teacher who puts a lot of thought into how he presents the material. His lessons are engaging, useful, and he is very patient, always encouraging his student to try. He pace just right so you feel challenged but not overwhelmed. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in learning Japanese.

I had the pleasure of studying Japanese with Yukio Sensei, and I can honestly say that he is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the Japanese language and culture, and he is passionate about sharing his knowledge with his students. Mr Yukio is a patient and understanding teacher who is always willing to help his students learn at their own pace. I learned so much from Mr Yukio during my time in his class. I not only improved my Japanese language skills, but I also learned a lot about Japanese culture. I am so grateful for his guidance and support, and I highly recommend him to anyone who is interested in learning Japanese.

I think it's important to find a tutor whose teaching methods help you best learn a subject, and I feel like Yukio sensei really provides that for me personally. I like how he breaks everything down into chunks and then builds off of those fundamental blocks of knowledge. I retain a lot of what we go over. In my first lesson, he really amazed me by helping me read and learn kanji very quickly and easily. I felt so much more confident and excited after that lesson. It's obvious that he has experience teaching foreigners Japanese. He's also always smiling and happy, and I honestly look forward to my lessons with him, because he brings such good energy to each lesson. I highly recommend Yukio sensei!

A thoroughly enjoyable experience with Yukio-sensei. Having previously studied Japanese, I had very specific learning requirements and objectives (mastering day-to-day, colloquial conversation is one of them). I conveyed those details to Yukio-sensei and he very kindly and deftly prepared the lesson in a way that is germane to my needs. Along the way, he'd pepper in some interesting but relevant anecdotes and cultural practices in the Japanese language, which makes the whole session just that much more meaningful. We quite literally sailed through the lesson. When you are having so much fun, the hour just flew by. Yukio-sensei was very easy to work with. I'd stick with him.

Conversational Japanese

I try to make the lessons enjoyable and progress can be felt.We use a variety of materials for different age groups.Even if you cannot read basic Japanese letters (hiragana, katakana, kanji), you can practice pronunciation using the alphabet.

Japanese for beginners

I have been teaching for 6 years at Preply and other online language sites.80% of my students are beginners. First, for beginners, I use an alphabet so that students does not stress the Japanese characters. I teach basic grammar and phrases.

JLPT

I have also taught the JLPT for 6 years, which is given in July and December.N5 and N4 students review basic knowledge by solving example questions at the beginner level.For N3 and above, students study more complex expressions by solving past papers.Almost 100% of our N5N4No test takers pass the exam.

Japanese for children

For elementary school students and younger, the lessons are more about basic vocabulary, names of household items and animals, numbers from 1 to 10, and simple greeting phrases rather than learning letters.For children, I try to keep their interest and focus on learning in our lessons.

Business Japanese

The most difficult part of business Japanese is honorific expression(keigo).In this class, we will focus on the use of honorifics and expressions, as well as business manners unique to Japan.

General Japanese

For intermediate-level Japanese language learners, lessons are basically conducted in Japanese. When expressions or words that you do not understand come up, we will explain them in English.
