Jeffery is a well-educated, well-spoken, and intelligent teacher. He helped me prepare for my Cantonese oral exam, I needed a one-and-a-half intensive week of tutoring, I barely understood Cantonese and he was up to the challenge. I provided him with all the materials that were given to me and Jeffery made sure I understood everything and pronounce every word correctly. He is very accommodating as well. Mandarin is my second language and Thai is my third, thus I found it awesome that he could explain things to me in the other two languages as well if I didn't understand him in Cantonese. He would share interesting stories and help me feel at ease. I was able to pass the class with an 87% and without his help, I most likely would have gotten a low C. 好多謝你!

Jeffrey is an excellent teacher. He has a well thought out learning plan full of grammar and vocabulary. This is reinforced with lots of speaking practice each elsson. Jeffrey explains concepts clearly with plenty of examples. He also has a great sense of humor which helps me look forward to each lesson!

Jeffrey is a very patient and informative tutor I really recommend learning from his teachings, he helps me learn with variety of languages that I know, it is to have a better understanding of what i'm learning, I like how he takes the pronunciation a lot in mind, I really like to learn from him and I hope I can still do so

Jeffrey is an enthusiastic and engaging tutor. He introduces many real life examples which helps in understanding the cultural context and makes the class interesting. Based on my preference, he has made the class structured but is always open to teach vocabulary beyond the syllabus. I look forward to attending Cantonese classes with him.

Really great tutor. I've been having a lot of fun learning Cantonese with him! Really patient and has also been teaching me a lot about the history and culture as well as a bonus. Definitely a great way to stay motivated and keep learning
