HELLO!!!😄 Thank you for visiting my page! 🙏

This is Jusun from Korea. I live in Korea right now, but lived in Australia for 4 years so I understand easily how different cultures are. And I travelled a lot around world, so I have a pretty wide perspective. I love nature, music, piano, guitar, travelling, reading and walking etc.

I have been teaching Korean for about SIX YEARS through Preply, and I am really enjoying teaching Korean to students from many different countries. So, PLEASE JOIN ME!!😉

🥕HOW TO TEACH🥕

① CUSTOMIZED MATERIALS ✏️

Every student has different goals and learning speed So, I carefully check what you need during the lesson and try to make your own materials. It makes you reach your goal quicker! I have various students from 7 to 80 years old, and I provide them all differently.

② TEXT BOOK for grammar✏️

When you learn new languages, you should definitely know basic grammars to make and extend sentences especially for beginners. So, I also use text books until you are able to speak general conversation.

③ TALKING✏️

I love conversations! We can have any conversations depending on what topic you are interested in. I provide articles about K-culture, environment, climate change, social issue, health, religion etc. Doesn't it sound fun to share different ideas using Korean?

④ K-POP & K-DRAMA & K-CULTURE✏️

I also have a favorite Korean signer, so I strongly understand what you want to know about it. You can learn their songs or drama lines. It could be fun!!!

⑤ HOMEWORK✏️

You are required to do your homework every time. It will be helpful for you to practice after the lesson. Homework will be memorizing vocabularies, writing diary, practicing grammars or reading.

I use STANDARD KOREAN, so you won't have any trouble when you speak to any Korean people. I am very patient and friendly, so we can be good friends. I am really excited to meet you in my lesson😄

Jusun is a patient and enthusiastic tutor, she's quick at assessing what your skill level is, and tailoring the lessons to your interest and abilities. She explains concepts clearly and is good at rewording them until you understand. The weekly lessons/homework are a perfect level of challenging and accessible. I've advanced further in Korean in a few months than I ever had with self study or group lessons!! I couldn't recommend her higher!!

This is a long overdue review! I have been taking Korean lessons off and on for more than two years now. She is extremely easy to talk to and caters her lessons towards your needs. Life gets in the way, and I would have a break here and there, but whenever I get the chance to take a lesson again, it’s always as if we’ve never stopped the lessons, and she remembers what we’ve spoken about. Her patience and dedication to helping me improve my Korean are evident, and I always feel motivated after every lesson. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to learn Korean in a supportive and personalized way. I’m so grateful for her guidance and look forward to continuing my studies!

I have taken Korean lessons with Jusun for 1.5 years now and she's a great teacher!! She's very patient and explains things very well. I started from ground zero and learned a lot from her. She will go at your pace and uses a textbook to to teach you. She gives you homework assignments for practice as well. I really like learning with her and highly recommend her as a teacher!

I started lessons with Jusun and she is super great! I really recommend her as a tutor! She is great in explaining grammar and how it would translate to English and is thorough in teaching and showing different types of examples! You really learn a lot, highly recommend! She's also super friendly :)

My specialties

Korean for beginners

Firstly, I teach Vowels, Consonants and Hangeul, which is Korean Alphabet. You can read Hangeul very quickly. And you learn easy vocabularies based on each lesson. After the lesson, I send you homework and textbook file as PDF, and also provide audio files that I record pronunciation of the vocabularies. So, you can practice listening and speaking.

Conversational Korean

Depending on your goal, I focus on what you need. I make you practice speaking and writing. You need to repeat Korean dialogue many times and remember sentences, and also write sentences using key expression learnt in my lesson.I will fix your writing before the lesson in order that you can study yourself.

Korean for Children

Intensive Korean

Elementary level and over. I use text book including general grammar, vocabularies and extra expression. I provide textbook before the lesson and send homework such as writing or speaking after the lesson. Also, I fix your pronunciation, intonation and accent more like Korean.

Korean Literature

I have knowledge of writing Korean. I know how to write good sentences and expression. Based on reading materials, you read good sentences and also write good sentences with me.
